good morning, welcome home, it looks very beautiful, thought that you almost had moved to Montmartre !:)

Eric

Great pictures Laury...even dandelions are pretty in Cadrieu!

My lawn is speckled with dandelions as well. Off with their heads! I'll mow this afternoon. While I love them when they're yellow, I'm not so fond of them when they raise up their fluffy seed heads! The yellow type font is a nice touch!

It's good to be home where everything truly is beautiful...now, don't get me wrong-I could have done way more than one night in Montmartre...just think how many photos I'd have after a week, if I took this many on one night!

Arabella

There is a story that I will find for you about "loving your dandelions". I went through a DBT training years ago and one of the concepts that we learned was radical acceptance. A story illustrates this. A man writes to someone (probably the city) complaining about his lawn and the dandelions and his attempts to eradicate them and by the end of the letter he laments that he still has dandelions regardless of all his work to rid them. The receiver of the letter writes back to the man and simply says, "I suggest you learn to love your dandelions!" Funny how we try so hard to eradicate that which someone else finds meaning in. Looks like you have lots of meaning and the willingness to enjoy it.

There are lots of lessons in learning to love your dandelions...and as you can imagine, I'm not just talking about flowers! Thanks for sharing your story Arabella! Have a great week-Love, Laury

Okay...there is a good side to the dandelion seed heads...the goldfinch love them and at times, I've seen as many as 2 dozen of those beautiful little birds 'snacking' on my lawn!
