Looking for special thank you gifts from Paris for my friends who took such good care of my Cadrieu life while I was in Germany-I stumbled on these tiny music boxes in Montmartre. I was overwhelmed with choices, but as soon as I turned the crank on La Vie en Rose that was all she wrote. I went into the shop planning on two, but that two grew to three and then four. The shopkeeper just kept smiling as I sent him back for another. He was probably hoping for 10. I don't think you can ever have enough La Vie en Rose!
wow, montmartre looks like heaven !:) yes, it is really incredible what treasures you can find !

Montmartre can be heaven, and is always I good thing if you can swing it. I think we tend to gravitate to quartiers and arrondissements we are comfortable in-still pondering a week at some point! Have fun!

Okay...if you didn't save one for me, I definitely need a trip to Montmartre to buy one. I was just looking yesterday at my photo from vernissage: Christiane playing La Vie on the Winkleman with Greg and Jean looking on. What a night!!

Everyone you mentioned above plus Mom got one. I would guess that by the time we are able to lay eyes on each other again...there will be one waiting for you too!
