It's All In The Whiskers

Checking back in on some of my donkey photos, I discovered the whiskers I love all over again! Look at those Pom-Pom is sporting above. He certainly has more than Pom-Pommette, but I guess that's as it should be since he's a he. It reminds me of how much I love the whiskers that Stew and Eric's puppy Louie has. His are wiry and all over the place. I didn't realize it until just now...he reminded me of my favorite donkey duo back home. I spend a lot of my evenings while I'm working unwinding with Animal Planet. I love donkeys already and have frequent conversations with friends about how much fun they would be to have. Animal Planet reported on one of their shows that donkeys are more like dogs than horses...hmmm-maybe just another reason to consider getting one, but not until I know I'm here and not travelling so much anymore.
