With Sundays being a day of rest and all, I almost snuggled back into the covers and put that morning bike ride off till later. I was really grateful that I didn't. What a way to start my day! And, a day that marked my exactly one week back in New Orleans.
The pelicans weren't the only ones having a party on the bayou behind the New Orleans Museum of Art. A ride that started out to be a quick spin around the park and home to meet Dal at the gate, turned into partying with old friends in the park and making a few new memories along the way...just a little more of that New Orleans morning magic! HI ! We can see some similar trees at Redenção Park downtown in Porto Alegre, capital of South in Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul STate), where I´ve lived since december last year. Great pictures YOu´ve shot !

Pelicans are such ungainly looking birds, but they are fascinating, huh? The white egrets are gorgeous. I miss that sweet Dali!
