Each day that passes and each event on the calendar that wraps up, brings Sammie Cat and I closer to getting home and closer to our Gaston. After the kind of day I had yesterday, the longing for home is profound. And, as wonderful as my Sammie Cat is; I found myself longing to be coming home to a great big dog who'd love me no matter what and shower me with sloppy dog kisses.
Instead, I got off the Jackson-Esplanade Bus at Broad Street-stopped at a corner store for a diet Dr. Pepper and got the 5 piece fried chicken special at McHardy's and collapsed. This morning-
