I have always worked hard at my friendships-sometimes too hard. But since I live so far away it sometimes means that I'm the one who has to make more effort. Blogging has made staying in touch easier for me...and has gifted me with many old and new "blogging" friends! I'm very grateful for everyone!

He sounds like quite a gift. Hope he enjoyed the birthday sermon on friendship.

beautiful photo ! and I believe I understand that kind of friendship, one of the things to appreciate, when you like me and my wife have moved around and thus not always having old friends around the corner, but still have them despite the long distances because of the kind of relationship which really matters to you! forgive me for my pocket philosophy ! I suppose your vernissage went well !
