Our lament over the last week or so of Evelyn's visit has been "Where has the time gone?" It seems like only yesterday that we were counting down the days here to her arrival, and now, tomorrow she returns to Toulouse to spend the night and then catch her early morning flight on Monday morning. It's been wonderful for me to have Evelyn here-she's just fit right in to the natural flow of our lives. We will miss her. Today, Evelyn took me to lunch at one of my favorite places Le Claux du Belvezet in Toulonjac. They have this incredible hot sea food salad called the Oceane...scallops, asparagus, varieties of mushrooms, tomatoes, endive, and other greens. We were a little early so we stopped in the tiny village of St. Croix where it was very difficult to get a nice photo of the church that we drove out of our way to see. I found a friend though, who satisfied the photographer in me.
Thanks for dropping by. As much as I enjoy writing, it's the photos that make this the most fun for me. I'm glad you are enjoying the blog so much-Take care-Laury

I would love to hear more about your work in MO when you return. MO is also a very beautiful, but under-rated state. 55 N/S is beautiful and so is 70E/W. I'll share more when you return-Bon Voyage and Love, Laury

I imagine if I came to visit I too would be sad to depart your company as I am sure Evelyn is.
I'll also be thinking of you on Monday morning when i fly into Missouri to do some consultation work in several parts of the state. The state children's mental health director is a huge trauma informed champion and has contracted me and the system of care that I direct to do state wide training all next week. So as I drive 300 mile stretches from point A to point B I will fondly think of you in one of your previous lives.
