Leaving in the morning to catch the bus into Cahors and then the 12:30 train into Paris. I'll be spending the night with my friends, the Jolly's, before I head to the states around noon on Monday. I doubt that I will be doing any blogging at all over the next few weeks while I'm on the road. (I just remembered, I better go get Babar out of his home in the kitchen so he can spend Thanksgiving with his family too.) Lots to do in St. Louis, New Orleans, Covington, and Baton Rouge and should have great photos and lots to report when I return. Have a great three weeks and Happy Holidays!
Loved chatting with you in line at the Kenner K-Mart Ann. You never know who you'll meet! Hope you'll stay in touch-Laury

Thanks for finding me Shara-that green bridge will always be special for me. I had hoped to have some then and now pix from this last trip to NO, but it wasn't in the cards. Maybe another time! Keep in touch-Laury

Hi, followed a link from Niels' blog; hope you have a lovely holiday, and just wanted to say I'm enjoying reading your blog and the pictures are delightful. I especially like the story of the bridge picture - how often people don't see what's right in front of them and think beauty and mystery are always to be found somewhere exotic and faraway.

Hi, Laura, I think it was. I am the lady you met at K-Mart. MY name is Ann. (Je mapelle Ann) [I think is how you say it in French.)I just wanted you to know that I enjoyed looking at the beautiful pictures you have posted. I didn't get to see all of them, due to time constraints, but the one of the towers, New Orleans Bridge, your beautiful cottage like landscape in France is really georgeous. I subscribed to your website, and I hope to be able to see all the wonderful things you have posted up here.
