We've had a few pretty sunny days since the weekend, so on one of them I decided that it was time for us to plant our tree. As happy as he was sitting in the corner of the terrace "in wait", it was time. I'd opened a few of the windows and Dal decided to join me. Sam always wants to come, but when I'm busy and distracted I can't keep an eye on her. She still had just as much fun from the safety of her open window, and continually let me know that she was there. When I planted our tree last year, I felt certain we'd be here to plant this years tree. I'm hoping to have our own little grove of evergreens soon. I think about next Christmas, and wonder. So much can happen in a year. So much is changing. So much is dangling. Even though I can't say that I feel certain we will be here next Christmas, I do know that Dal, Sam and I are planted here. Our roots have reached deep into our Lotoise soil during the time that we've been here. We are home.
Those were my thoughts exactly-even though the new owners will only be here in the summer it's still a good idea!

Great place for your 'grove.' It will kind of give you some privacy from the house next door.

I beleive our grove with grow, whether it's just every Christmas or even other times throughout the year. And yes, we are home!

How great that you got to plant your tree. We have had cold weather and even more snow this week, although it has all gone now :-) but it is freezing still :-(
I am sure you will get your "grove" ..Yep you are at HOME!!
