All of that for THIS...a new water line for my new neighbors that starts at the street, cuts across my property next to our first live Christmas tree, is metered in the back on his property, and I don't know about you...the results aren't very "jolie" as I was promised. My sapins, lavender and yuccas are still standing but everything else is a disaster. I'm going to go out at some point later to rake and even it out and maybe throw some flower seeds out there for this season and just see what happens. It was never a perfect lawn, but each season it was getting greener and prettier and now-well, it looks like we're starting over. Does anyone have any ideas they'd like to share? Have a great weekend-other than my trip into Figeac for groceries...you can imagine what I'm up to!
You guys are so smart...overalls, budleas and butterflies-I was already out yesterday digging the holes to put some budleas in. They love it here and are happy and healthy along the road-Imagine-surrounded by butterflies! The bad news is-the damage to the land is much worse than I thought and I need professional assisttance-Christiane and Jean-Paul came down to check it out for me and will call the water company on Monday! Good thing I take so many pictures, huh? Great friends all over the world! Thanks for your help Niels and Evelyn! Happy Sunday!

I love the overalls planter, Niels...great idea for Laury's new garden. Are there any budleas in that part? A couple of those would be nice to lure the butterflies to that side of the house. Is there a saint for butterflies? You need a statue of him/her for your garden!

I love it Niels...maybe I can find one or make one of my very own-I bought a big box of wildflower seeds today so I'm off to rake and throw them around and hope something new and different appears-An Overalls Planter would fit right in-I'm still planning on treating myself to that red pair...don't miss tomorrow's post! Love, Laury

good morning Laury, well, I know what you are talking about since we experienced a similar thing 2 years ago, it is just tp "look on the bright side" and see it as an opportunity to make a completely new kind of garden with new kind of flowers and some stone scuptures ? !:)
