No more sitting in the window and crying for Sammie cat! We discovered the other day that she must have been a barn cat in a previous life. She loves doing the balancing beam thing up and down the voie ferre between the Chatette and the Barn. I only let her out with me when I can keep an eye on her. With the help of that bell on her collar, I generally do a pretty good job. One day this week, I watched her jump from the edge of the train tracks through the side window of the barn and on inside. I went to get her and bring her back, but some speed demon car was passing and the noise chased her back through the window and to the Chatette Terrace. The following morning I lost track of her when I was watering. I couldn't hear her bell and looked around at all the usual spots. As I opened the doors to the barn and peaked inside, her sweet little face was gazing back at me, silhouetted in the morning light. Looks like I have a barn cat and a barn dog...just one big happy family!
I love you too Stew-and thanks! It can all be pretty "indescribable" sometimes. I'm out today to work on now MY very rustic wall and remove some more vines and stuff from that side of the barn. We're looking good and making progress-Love from your three French Girls-Laury, Dali and Sammie Cat

I finally read through your blog for the first time lately....I enjoyed the part about the smelly floors in the barn, and that is why, or maby, why they call it a barn....ha.ha. I loved the fun you had making it so livable until you relaxed and opened your olfactry glans....ha.ha.Great, going Kid...At least your floor is beautiful beyond words....I love the barn, and can't wait to be in it.....I love you Steward.
