Yesterday was a day of many missions accomplished. I road in with my bus driving friend and we made plans to have lunch together before he had to drive his next route. So, I hot footed it up the hill to the market for olives, a beautiful book for the barn apero evening, and a little extra cash.
These beautiful flowers waved me over as I was leaving the market. I don't know what I was thinking-I bought two beautiful bouquets (best 6€ I've every spent)but I was going to be carrying them around all day while I waited for Anne's 4pm train to arrive.
By the time I met Anne, it was difficult to tell who was more wilted...me, or the flowers. Frankly, I was convinced that the flowers were dead, and told our homebound bus driver so when he said: "Ah, pour moi?" More Cahors-ing and Anne Adventures soon.
