Although there is much to share with you about last night's barn apero party, I wanted to first unveil Kat's beautiful garland of our ancestors. It's a little difficult to capture all of it, but I think this gives you an idea of just how beautiful everyone was on the ladder and against the ancient stone. There's a little tease with the rest below, and I'll be back another time to give you a tour of the barn and our special night together.
French lesson time: how do you say 'cow poop' in French??

As you guys know, it has so truly been a labor of love for me...that is going to continue! Glad you enjoyed it-At the vernissage last night Auguste (one of our village elders-a farmer, fisherman & friend) came in the front door with his wife Simone and said: "I know that barn well." I told him: "Yes, but you don't know THIS barn NOW." We had good fun! You should have seen Simone, Auguste and Madam Gentou laughing when I told them my sleeping in the barn story...in French of course!
