Having already run up the steps from the metro stop, I treated myself to a ride in the funicular up to Sacre Coeur. I have no idea where my burst of energy came from, but when I exited there was yet another huge set of steps that I decided to jog up. It was wonderful because there were so few people. Actually, no people except the homeless man who just shook his head and laughed at me coming up the steps. I just said: "Bonjour, ca va..." and kept moving. It was barely dawn when I came back out of Sacre Coeur, but the puffy clouds and sweet morning mist were everywhere.
I was wondering how our guys were doing...the empty porch rail sounds a little sad-he was such a happy, singing, little guy!

Our pumpkins, by the way, are weathering the weather pretty well. The little one is kind of squashed, but the bigger one looks perky as ever. This week I noticed that Tom's mom finally threw his away; the porch rail is empty!

I love it so much I must have taken a dozen shots. Just not quite as many as our pumkins!

I loved yesterday's photos of Abbessess. I've never used that metro station...it's definitely one I'll make a point of seeing the next time I'm in Paris. Don't you just love the Tower from Sacre Coeur?
