There's a lot to celebrate today. Today is the day that our "WE" began nine years ago. Today is our anniversary-or even better-the birthday of our WE. So much has happened during these nine years. Our WE has grown. There have been many wonderful surprises along the way. And with each step, each petit à petit, we became more. What started out as just the Chatette and I, grew when Dali and Sam joined us in 2006. Monsieur Winkelmann came along that same year. And then last year, the barn and surprise land. Our lives together here are filling out. There's so much to look forward to. And you can bet, I'll share each step along the way.

Love the video-I miss Johnny too. You guys really know how to have a good time! Never had a pie in the face, but the children of my former expat boyfriend in Paris did think it was fun to crack a raw egg on top of my head while we were making lasagna together one evening. Shock first-lots of giggles and belly-laughs later-Have a great week.

Hi Kelly-don't mind a bit...I'm with you-a pie in the face from Johnny Cash sounds like a good time to me! Thanks for loving the photo-it is one of my favorites of the Chatette...before the nasty gas tank was installed in a very "non-photogenic" place. Happy Sunday!

Thanks Jeff-I just don't understand why we seem to have to fight so hard. And, it doesn't seem to get any easier. I've found my little piece of heaven here and it makes optimism easy...it really is a way of life here! I'd advise it!
