Working from my room on evenings and weekends, it's nice to have a little inside spring to keep me company. My first batch of spring included lavender roses and deep purple hyacinths. The aroma of hyacinth was so pretty, that housekeeping actually stopped me in the hall and told me how beautiful my room was and how much they loved the aroma. I've tried to make it homey once more. Apparently I've succeeded. Choosing my second batch of flowers this past weekend, I discovered these cute little birds for a very good price. There were 3 of them sitting in a cup at the register of the flower shop. I chose two, but then the last little guy looked so lonely there all by himself that I just decided to take them all. They've joined the rest of the gang that will be coming home at the end of this assignment. After the last box fiasco, I'm trying really hard to contain my holiday reflex purchasing. There were some little sheep that called my name, but I just said 'no'...and found some to take a picture of instead.
