Even though this photo is a bit blurry, my greedy girl was so cute and so intent that I had to post it. Moments after she did her dance and pitched a gaze that could cut through glass, she spread her wings and flew straight for me on the bank quacking and flapping all the way. I will miss her.

She was much more well-behaved on Easter Sunday. Maybe she just has to let you know who's boss and then calms down after all that. My friend Paul called her the "Amazon Duck"-he made me chuckle too!
