When I posed the question a while back: "Is it possible to have too
much fun?"- the consensus was we'll take as much fun as we can get! I stood in the garden the other day trying to count the butterflies. I finally surrendered. Let's face it-it doesn't really matter how many butterflies there are, especially when there are too many to count and they are having such a good time. As in "too much fun", there can never be "too many butterflies"!
It's hard not to feel the thrill of being a child again when you're standing in the middle of more butterflies than you can count. Then add in how beautiful they are and how special they can make you feel...it's like they've chosen to be with you. I particularly enjoy standing very still and being patient...not always, but from time to time they actually come and rest on my arm or my shoulder! This place seems to be a little bit of heaven for more than just me.

I love the butterflies. Later in the summer there will be many orange butterflies flitting around the orange and yellow lantana bush in front of our house. They are exactly the same shade of orange as the flowers. It is amazing to watch.
