Being in the middle of the week of my birthday, I've been going through photos for the vernissage and have rediscovered some of me through the years that are favorites. This one is particularly special. It is my first passport picture. Who would have known that being born in Great Britain when Dad was stationed there in the American Airforce, would be such a plus for me later in life? I tease Mom and Dad all the time, that the best thing they did for me was to have me in Great Britain! With each birthday, we look back together. I have the letters that Mom wrote to Nannie and Nannie wrote to Mom, while she was in the hospital and I was just born. The story I always remember is how they flew down country roads on their way to the hospital to the sound of thudding rabbits against the car in the dark!
Believe it or not, I actually have Mom's passport that has this photo in it from when we returned to the states. Happy Weekend!

That's one of the best passport pictures I've ever seen! They usually aren't very flattering, but you look adorable. Pity the poor rabbits who lost their lives for you.
