Reflection always comes at the end of these events. This is the first year that I've had good friends from the states here to share in the event with me and blog friends and old friends from high school contribute pieces. Even though Mom and Dad and Kat and Tom can't be here, I always put their photos next to the flowers that they send. Once the event is over, I dismantle the huge bouquet and spread its beauty around the Chatette. It means a lot to me that friends and family participate in my life however they can and keep in touch. I continue to try to find ways to keep the people I love close to me, even though there's 5000 miles and an ocean between us. It is important to me. It is a priority. We do what's important to us-we put the action into the words. Participation of any kind requires action, energy, time and investment, not always easy in the flow of everyone's very busy lives. That's why this participation means so much to me and this HUGE MERCI goes out to those who do!
And, I absolutely love sharing it with YOU!

I'm looking forward to it too Niels! I'm quite sure you'd be here way before 2013 if you walked! Love, Laury

Actually Niels, if you go all the way to Toulouse on the train you've passed me by. Take the train from Paris to Cahors and then the bus to me. Or if you are choosing to go to Toulouse first, the train from Toulouse to Cahors and then the bus to me! As I did with my New Orleans gang that just left-I'll meet your train. Now, I think we still have a bit of time, huh? Glad you found it! Take care-Laury

I found it ! thanks and you know, Bodil and I are people, who have not yet learned to drive cars and find it too late to learn it, but from your many bus narratives, I suppose that should not be a problem !:) actually we plan to take train all the way from Denmark down south to Toulouse and then go by buses to you ! Have a nice weekend Niels

Thanks Niels-I continue to be amazed at the degree to which my life has expanded! Sure hope that you and Bodil make it here in 2013...this is right where I want to be-baring any unforseen circumstances, of course! To find us-start with Cahors-(5.5 hours directly south of Paris-Look for Figeac to the east...We are between Cahors and Figeac...smack on the Lot River...Cadrieu is between Cajarc and Mont Brun. Hope that helps! Take care-Moi
