Between the Bookends

Earlier in the week, I wrote about how it's sometimes difficult to see what's happening when we're in the middle of it...too close. Having a conversation about the New Year yesterday, it hit me again. Standing back to take stock of 2011, I saw for the first time that 2011 began for me in Holland and will end for me in Holland as well. I'm not sure what it means, but I know I'll ponder it over the next few days as I continue to take stock of 2011 and look forward to what 2012 will hold. Last year I was feeling 'enough'. This year I'm feeling 'more'. I leave you with some of the stuff of my life between the bookends!
