Posting this first poppy of the season that I found on the road to vote, brought comments and interchange between some of my friends on Facebook. One friend mentioned that it reminded him of a poem: "In Flanders Fields" by Col. John McCrae, 1915. Another friend found the poem and posted it in my comments section. How wonderful to be able to share our love, friendships, and rememberances with our "friends" who might be people we've never even met face to face.

You're going to laugh Niels...I've put that as my photo on FB now. It is a pretty shot. It may go back up here for a while soon too, you never know. I also thought if I ever comment on the overalls FB group-I'd at least have overalls on! Love, Laury
