Out Beside the Lavoir...

...we're set. What used to be an overgrown, weeded, dust bowl; is now a sweet, sheltering, regional spot to sit, ponder, relax, or have a drink and/or dinner with friends. Of course the wagon is the center-piece, but now we have benches, budlheas, and yuccas too. We've discovered at our "Wine at the Wagon" evenings, that this is the perfect place for friendly conversation. It feels out of the way, safe, and protected, since it's tucked into the corner up against the road above, between the lavoir and a mound of land beside us. Add in the traintracks and you're surrounded. If weather permits we'll be out there again Sunday evening.

As long as I've lived here, I've never used the lavoir for anything other than water to clean the floor of the barn or water my plants. With all the work I've been doing over there recently, I've stumbled upon a wonderful way to end my days...

Howdy back! I'm not sure what you mean by "all the options of this domain"-the only real help I needed was in getting the wagon out of my barn, down the slope in front of the lavoir and then up to the other side of the lavoir to my property.I have sweet, funny little puzzle pieces of land sprinkled around over there that I've been trying to bring together in interesting ways.
