International Overalls Weekend-11/17 & 18-2012

International Overalls Weekend will be upon us before I know it, and I'm already pondering what I'm going to do to celebrate this year. I'm not sure what it says about my life, but this year will be the 4th different place where I've celebrated this event...2009-France, 2010-Holland, 2011-St. Louis and this year we'll be in New Orleans. We are global girls! I'm thinking it might be fun to have a party on Columbus Street on that Sunday! So, the plans are in motion. New Orleans here we come...celebrating life in overalls and so much more!

You're right Niels...it is fantastic! I'll be settling in on Columbus Street so I don't know just how much I'll do but I'll do something on the Sunday for sure, since I'm teaching on Friday and Saturday! Sounds like you're jumping back in with your students! Hope it's a good year! Take care-Laury

Oh, I would love to join in overalls in New Orleans ! jazz and overalls suit each other really good I think ! well, I'll probably be here in Tromsø, on my own, writing with snow, ice and darkness outside, but inside wood in the fireplace and wearing one of my first overalls I bought back in 2001, now being enriched by an textile artist in San Diego (who happens also to be an overall girl and gardener by profession!) see here a preview on how my overalls will be, http://www.flickr.com/photos/madebylovecraft/7990524502/in/contacts/
