Yumm...cappuccino! I love it and have enjoyed exploring various locales and establishments during many vacations and subsequent life in the Lot. On one of my first trips to Paris, I quite naively decided that I was on the quest for the "best" cappuccino. I was driven to my quest when my ex-pat boyfriend's children debated the philosophical issue of what makes french bread "good". I realize that "good" is different from "best" and should be easier to define.
Although there is a basic cappuccino, everyone does them up differently. In Paris, I'd decided that Segefrado was my favorite. Here in the Lot, my three favorites are from: The President/Cajarc; The PMU/Cajarc and the PMU/Figeac. I scooped these photos of my cappuccino at the PMU in Figeac while I relaxed before catching the bus home the other day. It was just so pretty, fluffy, frothy, sweet, warm and toasty. What standards would you use to pick your "best" cappuccino? Whether you're a cappuccino purist or a cappuccino sweetie, you can find exactly what you're looking for if you're willing to explore. And, don't forget to have a lot of fun along the way!
Hi Maggie-the hints are there and yes, we are going to be heading back to New Orlenas for an extended period of time. I'm taking it a step at a time...I need to work and with Dali getting older we need to be together. I can work these European contracts, but I don't want to leave her with others. New Orleans is the best place for me to work AND be with my Dal. I'm sure the blog will change to reflect life there, but it will still be fun and I expect to be mixing France and New Orleans magic a little more thoroughly. Glad to know you enjoy New Orleans too! Happy Sunday!

There seem to be little hints that you are moving back to N. O., or did I over-react? I have loved following your French life. But I also love New Orleans and will enjoy reading about life in the city.

Glad to hear you're finally feeling good enough for coffee! I knew you were under the weather, but that sounds like it was serious. Take good care of yourself-I bet that first coffee after 5 days of juice and tea is really going to be wonderful. All of these photos are from the PMU in Figeac...it was a fun, frothy, and sweet day all the way around. Get better! Love, Laury

Hi Laury, it looks delicious, especially, finally today I'm ready for coffee again after having been without coffee in 5 days due to a strong cold, implying only warm blue berry juice and camomile tea ! have slept more or less all 4-5 days, but now I'm on my way back to normal life and it's nice to see shots from Cajarc of course, and for me cappuccino needs to be sufficient fluffy and the servant/barista should shape a nice flower/heart on top of it ! have a nice weekend love niels, and I'll be back soon on my blog !
