After almost 24 hours of travel hell; Dali, Sammie cat and I pulled into the Motel 6 in Chattanoga Tennesse where I had reserved a "pet-friendly" room for us in advance. We were very happy they left the lights on for us. It felt like the Ritz. I watched Sammie cat enjoy sitting in the window and watching the nightime world go by outside our room. We were all a little lost. No Sammie cat, you can't see France from here!
