Best Laid Boat Plans

With the rain, Saturday morning's birthday paddle boat ride in City Park with Barbara didn't materialize. It was pouring, when Barbara arrived on Columbus Street. What better rainy day activity, than breakfast at La Peniche?                                                                             

Neither of us, had been in a while. We sat for hours, catching up on our "busyness". What a treat, to have a leisurely breakfast with a great friend while you listen, watch and enjoy the raindrops on the sheet metal awning out front! As much as I enjoy breakfast at La Peniche, it's the burgers and the seafood boats that keep me coming back. There's a return trip in my future!

No apologies needed, Niels. I understand, and I think it goes both ways. I've been busy and not writing as much, myself. I did hear from Lori about the article for the Farm magazine, and I invited her down for the International Overalls weekend and party. I tease that we'll be an Overalls Commune on Columbus Street that weekend, but who cares? We can make do. Keep up the good work and really looking forward to seeing you and Bodil in November. Hi Laury, Apologies for long silence, but I have been so busy the last weeks of being in Tromsø and then back and set up my Lab and rehearsals etc. etc. and Bodil is in Oslo to prepare Name Giving day for our 2nd grandson in the upcoming weekend, but anyway, congratulations with your folks tomorrow, impressive celebration I must say ! Bodil and celebrated 5 days ago our 33 years anniversary, only about half way !:) well, we plan to do the same as yours in 27 years :=) and I see you have your Dickies on, right ? the weather begins to be overalls weather ! love Niels
