As my family gets ready to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary, I'd promised a few tunes on the piano in the gathering room at Hidden Lake for their ice-cream and cake event. I began, being willing to settle for just buying one more piece of sheet music that was the same as my arrangement of Moon River. My arrangement...impossible! I finally gave up and called Evelyn, to see if she would scan Moon RIver at the Chatette and send it to me. She was wonderful. Not only did she scan Moon River, but we threw in Chez Laury, Till There Was You, and If Ever I Would Leave You, for good measure. I'm almost set. Considering I haven't really played piano since I left France last October, I need practice. For that matter, I need a piano. Ah, Stew and Eric to the rescue. It looks like I'll be dropping in over on Dupre Street for a lot more than books, wine, Louie boy and good friends. Piano...here I come.
