| I Can't See Her »
I don't usually ride my bike down Ponce de Leon on my way home from Canseco's, but early one morning I did. I began to pass this very sweet, young dog out in the yard, but turned around and went back. It wasn't a Dali Dog, but the markings and sweet, beckoning dispostion pulled me back. We stood at the corner of the fenced in yard that first day and "she" was wonderful. She loves affection and attention. She looks up adoringly with those sweet, intelligent eyes, big nose in your face, and yes...she lets me kiss her too. Her name is "Lucy". That makes her a combination of a number of girls I've loved...my Dali, Evelyn's "Lucie" and Greg's Meggan. I've started to stop by each time I'm in the neighborhood just to have a chat, scratch her ears, get my doggie kisses, and tell her how wonderful she is, how much she must love her family and her family loves her. What a treasure and a sweet angel that serendipitously found her way into my life!

You're right, Lona. The face and the feet grab me every time. Now Lucy has different ears and tail, but I just enjoy her sweetness. I'm craving a dog, but I know that the way I'll be traveling back and forth for a while-it just isn't fair. Hope all is well with you-Love, Laury

Isn't it strange how they have the same white marking on the face? Such a coincidence. If there were any such thing as "doggie reincarnation"....well, you never know.
