It's rare for me to stop on the road between New Orleans and St. Louis, unless I'm moving pets and furniture, and then it's usually a hotel. This trip home I'd decided that I just want to take my time and enjoy a little more of life along the way, and stay with my new friends Glenn and Bill Sanford- Jones in Madison, Mississippi.
Sammie cat and I pulled into our rendez-vous point at the Home Depot around 3pm on Friday afternoon and then followed Glenn and Bill home. What a treat! As you can see, their place on the lake is incredible. Such fun...great conversation, photo ops, snacks and dinner beside the fire, breakfast, and sharing a little more about our personal passions and more about how we got to know our friends Mike and John who brought us together too.
Tomorrow, a little more Madison from the other side of the lake. Special thanks to Glenn and Bill-I'm lucky to have them in my life and "on my way".
what a tree and wonderful to have friends on your road, say hello to all of them! and I must tell you that I have just found out that an expert in the history of Danish Opera is living in New Orleans and looks like a very interesting composer and is teaching at Xavier University! so probably one more reason for coming back to NO!:) love niels
