One of the local vendors at the Whole Foods Market Broad Street event really got into the act. Hanleys Foods shared a bit of salad in a cup with their dressing, and tiny sample bottles to take along with you. But the best part was that everyone got a mustache on a stick that said..."Dressin' it up! Hanleysfoods.com."
The whole crowd was walking around with their mustaches. Many decided to don them as they were having their Whole Foods Market Broad Street photos taken. (I confess: Stew, Eric and I were no exception.) Everyone needs a little fun, funny and silly, and these guys were the perfect emissaries for the day.
On a more serious note in the midst of the fun, funny and silly; it's wonderful to have this building up, running and in use again. It had been a Schwegmann's, then a Robert's, and has been closed and vacant since the storm. Here we are, with another great, new grocery store for the area. Welcome back!
Thanks Niels-glad to hear you're on your way to enjoying retirement and that Bodil has been drawn into the "Overalls Flock". We all know that wealth is about lots more than money! I'll write more in an email to fill you in on what it looks like is going to be happening for me-just different-Love to you both-Laury
