Yesterday was one of those soft, gentle, misty Sunday mornings when I know that if I can get myself dressed and on my bike; it will be worth every ounce of the effort. It turned into less of a wander in the hood and more of a hang in City Park and a stop in the cemetery on the way home. I lost myself on an almost empty bike path around big lake, and was soon riding way further than intended. I needed it.
I've been working pretty much nonstop at the computer since Wednesday of last week. As you can see, the exercise and the photos were a real treat to me.
The mist and the clouds were so heavy that the sun didn't make it out. Leaving the cemetery, the moisture that hung in the air became discernable droplets. Ah, home in the nick of time!
