I've mentioned before that we are "Moon Girls" in my family. As Kat and I contemplate going into some kind of creative venture together this fall, the moon theme just keeps rising. We're actually hoping to get Mom involved too. It seems that she needs something to focus on that would be fun for her and the three of us can share. We've been listening to a lot of Nat King Cole singing: Paper Moon, and the wheels are turning. I'd say that Kat already has a head start. Look at those envelopes.
While I was living in France, I'd get the moon first. Some evenings before I'd go to bed, I'd call Mom and Dad and tell Mom to be sure to look at the moon that night. Now, that connection could carry Kat and I to some sisterly fun and a way to get Mom involved and maybe even find some joy.
My very own moon card and note arrived last week; a lined envelope, a stickered note card, and a grouping of multi-valued stamps to get to the required postage. What fun! I'm ready. I don't have much time to think about it now, but when I get back from France in September I'll be ready to jump in with both feet in St. Louis. That's us: The Three Moon Girls!
Me too, Kat. It feels like we have a really good start though. Love, Moi
