I have a tendency to stay put and not really venture afar when I'm home in the Lot. And, it's even more unusual for Sammie Cat to be venturing with me. We had a three girls pj party over at Clare's for the last couple of nights. Sam got to explore new places, and so did I.
One of my favorite stops in Degagnac was the spice shop on the square. Of course, the vines and windows pulled me in.
But, the best part for me was when I discovered a sachet that I could use for spiced wine in the winters. Now, I won't be here this winter, but I'll be keeping this one in reserve for those future cold days by the fireplace, made toastier and tastier with my red spiced wine. The sachet I bought will make about 5 bottles...I better make sure I don't put it somewhere "too safe" so we'll be ready.
