As much as everyone is into "selfies" these days; I still enjoy having my photo taken by others. When Marina and I were doing "overalls and pearls" (and of course, THE hat) this summer, I realized just how many photographers I've had in my life that have taken fun and amazing shots for me over the years. The three I want to share are: my brother Tom, my friend Evelyn, and my friend Marina. Each of them has captured me in ways that scream "me" for me, to the point that I've used them as profile photos or posted them on the blog and Facebook.
Then, there are my friends who take the photos of others and adjust. My friend Mike (Edwards) and Marina fit into this category. As I pay tribute to each of my photographer friends over the next few days, I don't think you'll be one bit surprised to see just how many of my favorite shots are in overalls! Happy Saturday!
The shots I've included here are: a Marina shot adjusted by Mike, Evelyn's of me in the tiger pjs, Marina's with Dali and I, and Evelyn's in the loft of the barn. (I seem to be unable to find the file that has Tom's in them, but I'll keep hunting.)
