Marvelling at the collectibles at 411; I remember thinking that after Mom covered every surface available she'd moved on to the windows. It wasn't unusual for her to hang things from the cross bars, curtain rods, or even the window frames themselves.
Since I no longer have my own Christmas Trees at the Chatette or on Columbus Street since our return in 2012; I realized that all of the beautiful ornaments I've received as Christmas gifts these years since return have been living on my curtain rods on the double windows above the sink in the kitchen on Columbus Street.
Oh, I have lots of remaing surfaces I could cover elsewhere, but they look so pretty hanging, dancing, and capturing the sunlight that they stir the holiday memories and make my kitchen magical!
Here they are below from left to right! Happy Sunday!
