Raining since my return from teaching on Tuesday, yesterday's afternoon of white wine and apple pie was a remedy to cabin fever and a special treat for me over on Dupre Street. Louie greeted me with twirly-birds, butt-bites, and begging attempts in the kitchen. But alas, the pie didn't come out till later and then I obliged. Eric and I attempted to solve the problems of the world while Stew worked in the garden and put some finishing touches on the new shed. Louie and Stew were defintely more successful in their quests than Eric and I.
Special thanks to Eric for the photo above. (I'd showed up camera-less again.) Look at that crust. Stew's desserts are the best, and for a crust-girl like me...I was in heaven.
