Earlier this week, my friend Barbara Gasdaglis sent me this photo in an email. She asked if I knew anyone in the photo in the body of her email, before the shot was visible. After the download, I smiled from ear to ear. There we all were, our first Mardi Gras in New Orleans during graduate school in 1977! She asked me how I could remember the date? I knew because BOTH of my brothers, Jim and Tom came down to share it with me. Barbara's on the far right. I'm on the far left. The brothers are in the back with me, and Barbara's then roommate and one of her friends that came down to visit her are n the front.
It's wonderful to recapture those memories together. And what's even better, we're still making them! Love you Barbara!
