Happy Fourth of July-with my American Flag that frequently hung from windows, doors, barn beams, and who knows where else at home in Cadrieu? There were times when: it kept us warm; celebrated Lance Armstrong's win in the Tour de France; celebrated the Inauguration of President Obama; and, hung beside the Louisiana Recovery Flag, the New Orleans Flag, and the Flag of France in a show of respect, history and solidarity when the barn began to be included in the vernissages. Coming home on my bike the other morning, I thought about it being the 4th of July and I should hang my flag out on the porch...but wait, my American Flag is in France. Happy $th one more time!
