When Lynn Hull of Les Amis des Animaux told me that there was a family interested in the TWIST, I was ecstatic. I still pinch myself to think that in a little more than a week with me, he was RESERVED and getting ready to go to his forever home.
As if that didn't make me happy enough; she told me that the family was also interested in Jack-Twist's brother! How wonderful...adopting TWO and BROTHERS! Double JOY!
Watching Mr. Twist and Zac in their forever home with Steve and Helen Robbins and Jack and Lewis Quartermaine has been true JOY for me. JOY in their happiness as a family, and JOY for me that everything went so well. With the adoption deal sealed, my friends all over the world are just as thrilled as I am.
But you see, my friends know me well. They know how heart-wrenching it is for me to leave the Chatette to return to the states. They know how much that would have been magnified had I been leaving Mr. Twister hanging too.
It's a happy ending AND new beginnings for everyone. So many of my friends want to follow Mr. Twister and his future...I've suggested that they send a Facebook friend request to Steve Robbins. It appears to be working!
HUGE MERCI to Les Amis des Animaux, Zac's fosterer, and Steve, Helen, Jack and Lewis!
Special thanks to Steve, Helen, Jack and Lewis for the shots of Mr. Twist and Zac together. What a great family of the two-legged and four-legged varieties!
