Over the years of life in New Orleans, I've been blessed with many friends and many places that my friends and I have enjoyed together. You could say I'm "loyal." Others might say I'm a creature of habit.
Saturday was a special day. Instead of going to Bay St. Louis to meet Pat for lunch, she came to New Orleans to go out with Ron and I. We chose Horn's in the Marigny. None of us had been yet.
Even though we hadn't been to Horn's, I'd practically lived there back in the days when it was La Peniche.
Catching up was grand. Ron treated us, which was even "grander." What more could you ask? A beautiful sunshiny day, great conversation, memories of those we miss, and spending time with those wonderful and special people who make it all worthwhile.
We're already planning the next get together!
