The flowering stages of my garden here at the Chatette are many. As I've already bemoaned, I've missed the flowering of my plum tree and the wisteria this season, but wait till next year!
These days we are in the throws of dramatic whites and ranges of rose colors and aromas, with a gang of ready to bloom yuccas on the way. Then, it won't be long and the buddleias and butterflies will be back.
We are a spoiled bunch.
As much as I enjoy the views from my windows and wandering in and among the flowers in the garden, I also enjoy bringing them inside to enjoy and dress us up.
Those tiny delicate whites against the strong stone makes for gorgeous texture. The delicate, but colorful roses are stunning on stone too, but in a little more subtle way.
From subtle...
...to dramatic.
We are a living, breathing place.
