Living here full time all those early years, allowed me to immerse myself in our life in this place in a way you just can't do otherwise. Even months at a time are not enough. One of the things that I've always loved most is seeing how the grounds come together and take on a life of their own.
Getting ready to plan our first vernissage this summer since our departure to the states in the fall of 2012, I've been looking back at the photos from our last event. Those plans are in the works, and you can bet that they will include something special over in the barn again. Dressing up the wagon and the lavoir for that evening is such a treat.
As you can see, it all lights up beautifully and makes a magic all its own for those evenings.
I'm excited about getting our 2017 Vernissage off the ground. The barn and the cave make spectacular presentations.
Me, I'm back in "hog heaven!"
