I learned last week that Gaston has amazing powers. I'd been warned that he didn't like to be left alone and had seen what happens when I just walk down the road to Jane's car with her. After Dali moved house, I thought I was finished. But then, back from out in the yard cutting flowers to arrange, I find Monsieur Gaston staring at me from the terrace evier window.
Yes, his whole body was sitting right there staring back at me.
As you can see from the shot above where Sam is resting somewhat peacefully; that was no small feat!
I realized in that moment that he could easily break through that screen and irons bars AND that there were other possible casualties close by. Factor in his visit to the other two niches that held a smaller Mary and St. Therese of Lisieux, and it was time to move the Virgins too!
We are learning a little more every day. Some of it is prevention. Some of it is just getting used to each other and the flow of these days for all three of us. We are working hard to help Gaston feel more comfortable in his new place.
And, our ladies (along with Dali) are safe!
Thanks, Larry-trust me, he gets lots of hugs and kisses. He is a big sweetie and thinks he is actually Peanuts's size-ha-ha! I plan on being here so come on over! Just give me a little heads up. This year-next year-just keep me posted-Love you-Laury, Sam and Gaz
