At various times since our return, I have had moments where I see something and know we're home. At the Intermarche one day, I held up a cubi of Vielle Cave Red and said to Evelyn: "Now, I know I'm home!" Going into Cahors with Beth on Monday, I searched for another sign of home for me: Art & Decorations...my absolute favorite magazine. I've searched on other trips, but had no luck. Monday, there it was on the shelf in the train station.
With the heat being worse than usual, yesterday was a great day to stay inside, read my book, nurse the nasty fever blister like thing on my face and my feet, and treat myself to a nice nibbly lunch. You'll notice no Vielle Cave there...for me in the heat-iced tea is best.
Nothing like enjoying a magazine you love, soaking up a sweet breeze from the river, and nibbling on some of the best French cheeses around.
Hmmm, today may be another day just like yesterday!
Happy Hump Day Everyone!
