Sharing wonderful wine on Sunday with Evelyn and lunch and fabulous flowers by Jane on Monday; gave me cause to ponder the difference between my lives in New Orleans and in Cadrieu. I have lots of wonderful girlfriends in New Orleans, but most of them are not close enough to just drop by.
When I invited Evelyn over on Sunday to share a special wine and nibbles, I told her: I'm being good to myself and you've been being good to me.
Come on over later!
Monday, Jane called to say she thought I might enjoy some company and she was bringing lunch over. She didn't say a word about the flowers! What another spontaneous treat!
Although the lasagna was wonderful and we'd cracked open another nice bottle of wine; it was the friendship and flowers that did it for me again.
Aren't the flowers spectacular?
This one on the right is my absolute favorite!
The ability to be spontaneous comes easier here in the Lot. I know that I feel freer and more flexible. I have space in my days.
It is easier to say yes. It is easier to listen and be present in my own life and in the life of my friends.
Ah, the qualite!
Happy Tuesday!-And...
A HUGE MERCI to Jane!
