Having two 4-legged children who are afraid of storms, send this household into a bit of a tizzy. Gaz goes to curl up in a little ball and tuck himself into the tiniest corner he can reach under my desk.
Sam is already living in the kitchen cabinets these days, so she's in her "safe" place and ready for any one of a variety of storms.
I realized last night about 6:30 when everything went dark and green/ gray; I love the storms in this valley.
It began with a gentle rumble on the other side of the causse. I opened the windows and sat at my spot to journal and soak in the coming of the storm. I wrote:
Rolling in and out-feeling the power and the presence surrounding us here. An odd bird or 2 chimes in-early darkness-might there be rainbows if the sunshne was to sneak out through the rain...We are green. Everything is moving. I love the ability to feel in the middle of it all from here. Power-Strength-Calm-Quiet. I also love that I know just what I need to do when we have these kinds of storms...
And, it came.
We woke to gorgeous skies and rushing water everywhere this morning at the river, the basin and the lavoir.
Good thing we got in our walk.
It is raining again!
Happy Wednesday!
