With so much going on surrounding this return and arrival home, it has taken me all of this time to finally find the natural flow to being here, being home, and feeling "plugged in" again!
As you know, I thanked St. Therese of Lisieux just the other day.
Gratefulness is important.
And then yesterday, riding down the road home from the direction of Cajarc, it hit me:
This is my life.
My mornings are my life.
They carry the magic of my days.
There is such a luxury to:
morning bike rides; photo opportunities everywhere; a place that swirls with history, romance, timelessness, boundarylessness and MAGIC; patisseries to pick from; friends to find; the joy of a new fresh day waking up; and, being able to be a part of and appreciate something so simple that is way bigger than me!
I'm finding each day I head out on my bike, I want to go a little further.
That can happen from time to time, but for now I need to focus on my re-escavation project(s) and vernissage at the end of the month.
I've made myself promises for fall, and plan to be on that biking road to see some old friends and make new discoveries.
Happy Saturday!
Back at you Niels...glad you're enjoying the posts. I'm enjoying living them. I'm with you on the work stuff-Out in the lower terrace this morning and just do as much as I can till I get tired and before it gets too hot. None of us are 40 anymore! Love and Hugs to you and Bodil-Miss you-Laury and Sam
