The coming of fall is good for all of us, but especially for my flowers by Jane! The cooler weather AND changing the water more frequently made this batch last way longer than the usual week.
More time means more photos for me.
This go round I got to play around with what I call my "flowers dramatic" shots. Up against the black background right before dawn, the colors pop and the stone proves time and again that everything is prettier around it.
This is not the same as stone and candlelight...here, I have lamplight behind me! I tried some of these shots earlier in the season with the huge and expansive sprays of only one type of flowers from the garden.
They just didn't take quite the same.
I confess, I was learning how to use my phone as my camera, and it has been a bit of a learning curve. It works! I never thought I'd only be using my phone as my camera! Never say never!
Jane and I are talking.
I'm hoping that next season I'm going to have some flower patches of my very own springing up here at the Chatette.
I love what Jane is doing.
It looks like I will be able to be a part of it, even if it is in some small way.
I'm excited!
Of course, I'll keep you posted.
Happy Wednesday!
I would say oui, oui, oui to that, Larry! There really is a magic that flows through this place in a natural way close to the SOURCE! Talking to Dad, he'd just gotten his package with a bunch of these posts printed out and some other photos and he said the same thing. When I first had this place, he and Mom would call me and sing "It's Magic!" An old Doris Day song and we'd giggle! I have it for the pinao! Glad Nate was a whimper. Love to you and Peanuts-Laury, Sam, and Lucie
