As Glenn and Bill and I stood inside the museum on Friday afternoon, we made the decision to go the quilt exhibit first. Looking back, I'm so grateful we did. I know that I would not have had the energy for the quilts after the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
Stories Unfolded boasted 40 gorgeous quilts made by Mississippians. Each one was more beautiful than the next and each had a story to tell.
This Rose of Sharon Quilt by Mary Menger, was one of my favorites. Once again, there is so much more to share. I shall return.
Happy Sunday!
